When I first installed mine it did the same thing I had it sitting face down instead of how its meant to be, my bad I dident look at it hard enough to see which side the speakers face and what was the actual bottom , also went into the audio settings and turned off the tv speakers

You can minimize the delay by using the digital optical audio cable instead of the wireless Bluetooth connection. Also, you may want to update the soundbar to the latest firmware version, often times improving the connection to external devices and eliminating the delay. ^Patty
