“I have cathedral ceilings in my great room and I'm looking for a soundbar that will provide a clear sound when listing to over the air stations. The sound seems to echo which makes it difficult to hear/understand what they are saying. Will this unit help”

sometimes echo happens when the "TV SOUND" is not turned all the way down.. if using optical cable that is.. ARC-HDMI "fix's" that "echo issue"

I would recommend moving up to a soundbar that has a center channel such as the HW-B650 Soundbar. This will allow you to adjust the center channel where all of the dialogue comes from to +6, which will help mitigate the echo in the room. The HW-B550 Soundbar does have the ability to adjust a "virtual center channel" allowing the dialogue to be increased slightly, but not as clearly as one of our soundbars with a dedicated center channel. ~Samsung Solutions
