Not exactly. Basically you plug in the ARC HDMI to connect to the TV to get the audio to the soundbar when the TV is hooked up to other things (like a PS5 AND an AppleTV). So you can do one device plugged into the input via HDMI (like an AppleTV) and then an output that goes from the speaker to the TV to send the sound AND video. If you want more than one device, you hook up the devices to your TV and then one cable from the TVs ARC HDMI to the soundbar's ARC HDMI to get the audio there. Then you switch inputs on the TV to switch between devices. If you don't have enough ports on your TV (lets say you only have 2), you can hook up both devices (PS5 and AppleTV) to the TV, then use an optical audio cable to connect the TV to the Soundbar for sound. They're not that expensive and will get the job done. Then you switch inputs on the TV to switch between devices.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi IwantaGPU, The HDMI ARC port on the HW-B650 Soundbar will need to be connected directly to your TV's HDMI IN ARC port. From there you can connect your PS5 and Apple TV to other HDMI ports of your TV and then will have the audio sent to your Soundbar for everything. ~Samsung Solutions
