This should replace the TV speakers (connect it to the HDMI port on your TV labeled ARC).

The HW-B650 Soundbar does not have the feature Q-Symphony that would allow the use of TV speakers plus soundbar speakers to played at the same time.

I have a Samsung LED TV. The TV speakers do not turn off when I use the soundbar. I turn down the volume on the TV speakers when I use the soundbar.

I think depending on your connection from the soundbar to the TV you get an option to leave the TV speakers on at the same time. Probably if you have an option to connect the speakers to your TV via HDMI but for Bluetooth it doesn't work and digital cable it doesn't work. Sometimes the TV EQ works on Bluetooth! Go figure! It all should just work regardless!
