• I used the optic cord. Plug it into the soundbar then to your tv. Your tv should automatically pick up the connection of the soundbar. If not go to your tv settings and look for audio setting and switch it to the sounbar. Then you should be good to go. If im not mistaken you shouldn't need the soundbar remote tou will be able to adjust volume with your tv remote as well

• If you have a Samsung tv it’s pretty much plug and play. When I set mine up I plugged it in to the power and audio and my Samsung tv remote worked it when I selected the sound bar on my tv.
