Hi MCH, No you can't use the USB to connect the HW-C400 Soundbar to your TV. The USB port supports USB devices with FAT16 (~2GB), FAT32 (~2TB) or NTFS (~2TB) file systems. To connect this soundbar to your TV you will have to use either Optical or Bluetooth connections. ~ Samsung Solutions
