Hi there, The HW-Q600C Soundbar has 3 channels that play directly towards you and then 2 channels that are Dolby Atmos top-firing channels. The HW-Q60C Soundbar has 3 channels that play directly towards you, and it does not have any physical channels on the top of the Soundbar. ~Samsung Solutions

The 60C is 3.1 meaning there are 3 speakers in the bar and 1 subwoofer The 600C is 3.1.2 the same as above with the 2 upfiring speakers to add to the true souround sound feel

The 60C is 3.1 meaning there are 3 speakers in the bar and 1 subwoofer The 600C is 3.1.2 the same as above with the 2 upfiring speakers to add to the true souround sound feel
