QuestionI just bought this soundbar along with the higher end Samsung 75" tv. It's great, but I can't get the subwoofer connected. How do I do it ? Thanks

- Answer It’s supposed to connect automatically. There’s a button on the back to do it manually. You might have to move the sub closer to the soundbar while pairing and then move it wherever you want when it connects.

- Answer Hi Chaiz! To set up the Alexa functionality, you must do it within the SmartThings app. Select the soundbar from the SmartThings home page, then tap on the 3 vertical dots on the top right corner and tap on “Alexa Settings” to log in to your Amazon account. The soundbar also supports Airplay 2 technology. QuestionIs there a way to fix the fish bowl sound when it’s using the center channel for a narration? Some ads also seem to only using the center channel and it sounds pretty robotic/fish bowl like.

QuestionMy 82 inch Samsung is 2019 model QN82Q65FN. I don’t believe it has eARC capability. I know the TV doesn’t have Q Symphony. What else will a 3-year TV that I paid $2500 for not be able to do? Should I not even bother unpacking the soundbar once it arrives

QuestionWill the q900a work with my 2019 Q6 82 inch Samsung? Is it basically plug and play? What functions of the soundbar won’t work with the TV?

- Answer Hi ALBob! The HW-Q900A is compatible with the 2019 Q6 Samsung TV via HDMI or digital optical audio. The soundbar includes an HDMI cable allowing a simple plug and play connection to the Samsung TV. With the 2019 QLED TVs, you will not be able to take advantage of the Q Symphony feature from the soundbar, which allows the TV speakers and soundbar to work together for a more immersive experience. You will still be able to take advantage of the full, impressive sound, provided by the 7.1.2ch system. ^Tim

- Answer Hi Pacino! The HW-Q900A will connect to any TV supporting HDMI, Digital Optical audio, or Bluetooth wireless audio technology. The soundbar does not need to connect to a Samsung TV. For the best experience, we recommend connecting to a TV that supports HDMI eARC. ^Tim

QuestionI cannot for the life of me figure how to get a complete display of this soundbar on my Q800A screen. I've tried every conceivable loop and toggle; WIFI, BT, D-IN, Optical. Someone please HALP!! :)

- Answer Hi Madelsperger! The HW-Q900A does not feature an on screen display. For optimal connection to the TV we suggest using the included HDMI cable connected to the HDMI ARC port on your TV. From there, change the source on the soundbar to D-IN, and select the HW-Q900A as the audio device through your TVs sound settings. QuestionCan I play music through the soundbar using Apple Airplay 2 while watching TV at the same? Worth noting that our TV is a Samsung Q90. When entertaining, we like to play music while having a game on TV muted. I need the capability of both simultaneously.

- Answer Hi ErinT! Playing audio from your Airplay 2 device will not interrupt the image on your TV. You will be able to play audio from your Airplay 2 device and leave the TV audio muted. You will not be able to play both Airplay 2 audio and TV audio through the soundbar at the same time. ^Tim

QuestionI want to mount this above my television on a full motion mount. I'm wondering that the result would be if I mounted the soundbar such that the intended top is actually facing the viewer, and the intended front would be facing the ceiling. Thanks.

- Answer Hi! For optimal sound performance you will want to ensure the front of the soundbar is facing where you will be seated, with nothing blocking the speakers on top. You can use the following mounting adapter from Rocketfish to attach the soundbar to the TV's full motion mount.
