• A:Answer Hi Brock, The HW-S50B Soundbar can be controlled by your Samsung TV remote. Follow these steps for setting that feature up. 1. Turn Off the Soundbar. 2. Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Off-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Samsung-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”. The middle LED on the top of the soundbar will blink 1x in Cyan when it's setup for a Samsung TV remote. ~Samsung Solutions

• A:Answer I fixed the sound delay problem when the tv is turned on. Go to settings- sound- expert settings - hdmi arc mode. I turned that off from auto and my sound delay dropped from 15 secs to 5 secs. I have crystal 7000 tv and s50b soundbar

Q: QuestionDoes this sound bar mute the volume automatically after 30 seconds of no sound? I read that in someone’s review of the 5.0ch model. They said the sound comes on again five seconds after you play something with sound. Can that feature be disabled?

• A:Answer Hi PJ, Follow the instructions below on how to set your Spectrum Remote up to control your Soundbar. Make sure that your TV speaker is set to External Speaker. 1. Turn Off the Soundbar. 2. Push up and hold the WOOFER button for 5 seconds. Each time you push the WOOFER button up and hold it for 5 seconds, the mode switches in the following order: “Off-TV Remote” (Default mode), “Samsung-TV Remote”, “All-TV Remote”. The LED indicator status changes each time the mode is changed. Refer to page 17 of the full manual for more detailed instructions. ~Samsung Solutions
