“How is the keyboard charged,does it get it's power from the tablet?”

Once the magnet draws the tablet in and snaps it into place, the keyboard is ready to go. The battery from the tablet is what powers the keyboard.

It does not require charging. It simply connects to the tablet when it's docked.

It gets power from the tablet. No additional charger to carry around. Great design.
