• Yes you can use them for phone conversations and the sound is great. The microphone picks up your voice very well. I don't think there is a mute button/function on the touch pad, but there maybe a mute function on the accompanying smartphone app.

• Yes my son has these headphones and you most definitely can use for phone conversations. I doubt you can on any apple device but android is more than capable.

• it says it under the over view Built-in Smart Touch controls Let you easily skip tracks, adjust volume levels and answer calls. but if it were me i would choose something else for your needs
