there should be 3 other sets of buds in the box. i used the medium ones and my wife used the small ones

Yes, there are different sizes. I had to have smaller ones than the one it came with.

There are three sizes included. If the small are too big then you have write small ears. Maybe try an over the ear style?

The small earbuds that come with it are the smallest ones. I knew someone that had the same problem. I suggest cleaning the earwax from their ear, because when the earwax heats up the earbuds would slip off. Once they started cleaning their ears on a regular basis the ear buds stopped slipping off. The morale of the story is clean your ears.
