“Will the television be flushed against the wall with the power-cord inserted into the outlet directly behind the television? I do have a conduit which is next to the outlet, but I heard electrical wires and signal wires cannot be in one conduit together.”

This comes with a longer power cable that is designed to do this. I have the optical and the power cord running through the same conduit with no issues. I do not see any issues with doing it this way. Another option might be to get a recessed outlet or have the outlet towards the top of the TV where these is more room. The 'no gap' area is more towards the bottom and middle of the TV. Good luck!
