“Just bought my Samsung notebook. I am not able to connect to wifi at work. I am able to connect to wifi at home, free wifi everywhere, just not at work. I have the correct passwords. Has anyone encountered this?”

Talk to your IT Department. You may need some kind of certificate or password to get online. I don't believe it's an issue with the laptop but with the wifi itsels since you're able to connect to wifi everywhere else.
