“What is the difference between the S-pen on the Notebook 9 Pen version and the "Active Pen" on the Notebook Pro version? Are they both EMR?”

From my understanding, the S-Pen is built into the Samsung Notebook Pen where as the Active pen is not built into the Samsung Notebook 9 Pro and functions just like an actual pen. I own the Notebook 9 Pro with the Active pen but haven't yet used it.

I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The S Pen is way more precise than the Wacom EMR especially if drawing slow. The EMR will be fine for quick notes but not as good as S Pen products or the Surface Pro 6 which has one of the best on screen writing experiences. The S Pen also stores inside the laptop.
