“I share my screen & record a lot of tutorial videos for work, will a monitor like this cause issues with Zoom/Google Hangouts? I've seen some posts online that the aspect ratio gets weird for people viewing a shared screen from an ultra wide monitor.”

I could see that happening, think of this monitor as 2 monitors but its all on one screen. I run 4 different programs at the same time for a video production which is amazing on this monitor. I have never opened just one program all the way across this screen, the aspect is just to far off when you do that.
