Yes. 1440p 120hz plus monitors are gonna be nice to get decent picture quality and that high refresh rate to compliment the series x. HDMI 2.1 monitors are what's needed to get that 4K 120fps potential and the confirmed one from Acer for example is over $1000.

Please try again later.I think it would be a PERFECT pair with the series S as this monitor is 1440p and 144hz and the series s is rated for 1440p at 60fps and can go up to 120fps. whereas the series x is rated for 4k resolution at 60fps and can go up to 120fps. so really there is no point in wasting your money on the series X when the series X is more than viable for your needs. just my opinion as if you truly want the full series x experience with a decent panel you are going to have to shell out a good chunk of money. hope that helps.
