• I just measured mine. The stand is less than 19 inches high and the monitor can be slid down to less that 19 inches also.

• The bottom of the monitor is a good 7'' above my desk and can't go any lower than that. I don't have a tape measure handy, but I don't think this will fit into a 20'' tall space, as it is heckin' huge and almost more TV than monitor sized.
