Thank you for your question! For the best image quality results maintaining VRR and HDR support, we recommend avoiding adapters where possible. Use of an HDMI 2.1 to DP 1.4 connection may allow you to achieve a faster refresh rate; however, this is largely dependent on the specs of the adapter being used. Samsung does not offer any recommendations for adapters to use.
