“The description says "5G capabilities baked in" but in specs it lists everything but 5G. Which is it?”

• It is 5G capable, You have to be in a area that has 5G, or it will step down to 4G.

• 5G.. but not only if 5G is available in your area and through your carrier, also you must have a 5G plan at least through your phone carrier..

• The Samsung Galaxy S20 fe, Samsung Galaxy S20+ along with the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, are all 5G capable phones. However, the smaller Samsung Galaxy S20 did not have room for the (2) 5G antennae (1 each along the sides). The engineers decided re-engineering this model was not worth the effort given the 4 choices of this model, (S20, S20fe, S20+, and S20 Ultra, that was likely a wise decision by Samsung. Understanding the "G" after the numbers 2, 3, 4, 5 stand for "Generation". (5G = 5th generation)
