• No. This is not a Windows laptop and does not come with Microsoft Office installed. You can install the Android (Google Play) version of Office.

• While Office apps like Word, Excel, etc are not installed out of the box, they are available in the Google Play app store for download. Some apps which are free running on an android phone or tablet are paid apps running on a chromebook or the Samsung Dex environment. If these apps (or others) are essential to your potential chromebook pro experience, i suggest doing some research to understand the pricing structure and availability of the apps you need.
