If possible I would suggest opening up the laptop and installing a larger SSD, if possible. If not then a micro-sd is an easy solution for more storage. But the mirco-sd is going to be considerably slower than your ssd. So its more useful as storage for files - not for running applications. I am attaching speed test I used just recently for a review of Surface 3.
