“Hi, question about the Wireless Rear Speakers. I know the rear speakers are "wireless" as far as the signal is concerned but do they still need an AC power cord running to them to fire up? I want to have these from the ceiling but without cords.”

Yes they have AC power cords. I do not recommend hanging them from the ceiling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are no options for totally cordless applications. You have to consider the fact that power is required to achieve sound. If you want 100% cordless then you have to recharge them which will become annoying very fast. If you don't want to deal with an outlet and cord then you have to revert back to a system from the early 2000s and no one wants that.
