A:Answer Mine was unlocked, though I had to change/add in some cell tower network settings for tmobile for it work. It will probably only go up to 4g speed and may have problems with picture texting, otherwise mine works for What I use phones for. Google hangouts/voice can handle the more complicated stuff.
