No one can answer that question accurately because of the number of variables in play. Things like router type, strength, and location. The number, thickness, and materials of the walls and terrain attenuating the signals. Interference from other devices, weather, humidity, and on and on. You'd just have to try it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one camera about 40 feet away from the router. Still excellent detail and no drop-off in transmission. I suggest you go to the kennel and check if your smartphone can still get your WiFi signal. If it does, then chances are that the camera will also be within range of the router.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is FAR further than 200 feet and its perfect... I do have a rather expensive netgear tho...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine seem to need to be within about 100 to 150 feet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.there are too many variables to answer this with any certainty. Does the 200 feet consist of; Open space? Walls, and if so what type (brick, plaster, drywall ...are the studs wood or metal)? Floors, and if so at what angle (traversing beams and joists at angles compound signal loss)? Furniture? RF interference (cellular, microwave ovens, cordless phones, RF remotes, etc.)? Taking all of that into account, I would say that 200 feet would be at best, problematic without implementing a wifi extender, or one of the newer mesh wifi products from Google, NetGear or Asus.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can if your router is updated to a model that says how far you can go. Check with your carrier to see how far it will transmit. My newer router goes much farther than my old one. Also the higher you put the router (ex) upstairs room vs. downstairs the father it will transmit and receive.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.so long as your router range gets to the location of the camera, then you're good. if you have strong wifi signal in your kennel, then the camera will work just fine
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This depends on the type and quality of your router and the clear line of sight. I believe this camera also uses 5Ghz so it may go farther than the 2.4Ghz. Check the specs.
