The answer is yes. Connect the HDMI output (TV ARC) connection on the sound bar to the HDMI ARC input on your TV with a HDMI cable . Select the D.IN input on the sound bar and it will display TV ARC as the input. Your TV will now completely control the sound bar including settings like surround sound, bass/treble, volume, on/off functions, etc. You will not need to use the sound bar remote control as the TV remote control will completely control the sound bar along with the TV. If you run out of HDMI inputs on your TV (or want to reduce wires running up to a wall mounted TV), you will also be able to pass an HTMI input thru the sound bar HDMI input connection and then signal goes thru the same cable to the ARC HDMI input on your TV. In addition, if used, the SIRI voice control and/or Amazon Fire TV will also control the sound bar thru this connection.
