• This device has a maximum output o f 4K resolution so, yes, it can stream up to 4K. It also can play any format of CD, including audio CDs, video DVDs, BlyRay Discs and 4K UHD discs. Video resolution will be limited by your TV device, so if the maximum resolution of your TV is less, you will not get the benefit of the 4K UHD resolution.

• The device can do both. It streams at 4k resolution (if the source is streaming at 4k) . It plays regular CDs and DVDs as well as BluRay Discs and BluRay Discs which are formatted for UHD 4K resolution viewing.
