• Hello pete, the IR receiver on this unit is located on the right corner to the left of the eject button. ^Britt

• I believe its in the same spot where the power light is, but it is on the top of the player the IR will not read it if you put in the regular spot under the player. Place it upside down over the power light. I'm just taking an educated guess here, so I hope that it works out for ya. Please let me know.
