• All new streaming devices like Firestick, Roku, android boxes and now Ultra4K dvd player like this one only use Bluetooth remotes. Most tv remotes are infrared which don't work with this unit. The replacement remote can be bought at any Best buy and Amazon. Only the new Logitech Remote works for the newer type of Bluetooth remotes for all brands. All other universal remotes including Shaw BlueCurve , TelusOptik , Verizon Bell will not work on these newer BlurRay dvd players made after 2017.
