- Answer It requires you to use a LAN connection or "wired" connection to your home network in order to use web based features as there is no wireless capability built in to this player.

QuestionWhen a dvd is stopped or paused for any length of time on this model, upon pushing play again the dvd starts all over again. Is there a setting that will allow resume at point stopped?

- Answer All new streaming devices like Firestick, Roku, android boxes and now Ultra4K dvd player like this one only use Bluetooth remotes. Most tv remotes are infrared which don't work with this unit. The replacement remote can be bought at any Best buy and Amazon. Only the new Logitech Remote works for the newer type of Bluetooth remotes for all brands. All other universal remotes including Shaw BlueCurve , TelusOptik , Verizon Bell will not work on these newer BlurRay dvd players made after 2017.

QuestionDoes this play 4K Ultra HD movies on disc at the highest level of quality? The playable formats listed only go as high as blu ray so is the idea that blu ray discs look even better with the upscaling or does this play true 4K discs at top tier?

- Answer Make sure that you have a 4K tv and at least 21gps HDMI cables. I have the audio quest forest hdmi cables and my tv looks outstanding.

QuestionWondering if anyone else is having this issue. When i play 1080p movies on the player, they play fine. But when i play 4k movies, i notice flickering at the top of the tv screen. Only with 4k movies tho. Its connected to samsung 4k hdr tv.

- Answer I have not had this problem. Sounds like your 4K player could be defective. Have you tried with a new HDMI cable?

QuestionHas anyone had issues with audio sync while playing non 4K Blu Rays. I have played regular blu rays and regular dvds and noticed that everything is out of sync. Might have to return this for another product. Unless there is a setting to fix this. Weird.

- Answer Not entirely sure about DirectTV connection, but this Bluray player does have an ethernet port in the back for online apps. It comes default with Netflix, Vudu, Youtube, etc. if you use any of those apps. Hope this helps with your question.

QuestionDoes this have a full screen feature? Because I have 2 older samsung blu ray players, that one you can open up the picture so it fills up the screen nicely and the other cheap one you can't.

- Answer The default is 16:9, and I never have bothered to check what the other options are. The player probably can output that (else why even have a ratio option on the picture menu), but the second determining factor will be how the TV monitor deals with it. The screen might fill out (losing top and bottom info as that is pushed off the screen), but it may just fill it cleanly, with black bars to the left and right. It might be a good idea to just contact Samsung and see what they say.
