“can this play BRs and DVDs from India”

• It only plays USA Region DVDs (Region 1) and BluRays (Region A?) I just moved here from the UK and it won't play my European DVDs (Region 2) and BluRays (Region B?)

• I am not sure. It plays the ones I purchased here in America. I think you should contact the manufacturer.

• No, This BDP-S6500 only plays Blu-ray region A and DVD region 1.
