• The Samsung player will only stream Netflix or other internet media IF you have wifi or hook up to a router/switch with an Ethernet cable. The TV will play what ever the Samsung sends to it. So, yes you must have a way to get internet to the Samsung. (Either a wifi in the house, or a cable to Ethernet.)
