“When playing a cd, will the song titles be displayed? My current Samsung DVD player only lists Track 001, Track 002, etc. along with the length of each song.”

I have used this player as a means of playing my own creations of VHS-C tapes to mpeg4 format conversions. It did list the chapters because I purposely scripted them in the creation process. If you don't edited while capturing streaming content becomes what you put in is what you get out.
