“Hi there, I have a Q70R sound bar. I've hear people have succesfully used an swa 9000 with it although it isn't on the recommended list. Can I use the 9000 or 9100 in lieu of the 8500? Kind regards. Peter.”

Hi Peter! The 2021 SWA-9100S Rear Kit is officially supported and backwards compatible with 2020 Q70T, Q800T, Q900T, and S60T Soundbar models, and works with 2021 Q600A, all new A-Series, and all new S-Series Soundbar models. The correct rear speaker kit compatible with the HW-Q70R is the SWA-8500S. ^Tim
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think so, I tried to use the 9100s with a q700a which had it on the list but had to exchange for the 9500s… your q70r might be too old for the 9100s because of the atmos software but idk about the 9000
