Behind you and close. These rears only work with Atmos tracks. In other words, if there's no Atmos track, nothing much soundwise comes out of these rears. They are pretty quiet when not transmitting full Atmos. However, when Atmos is present, Holy Moly!! You want these right behind you and close. They are truly immersive!
