A:AnswerI just got the monitor and unlike you did not do my research. This monitor can not be hooked up to the VESA mount unfortunately. It is a good monitor, but the design engineers made it slant at an angle so that the top of the screen is closer to the user than the bottom. I hope you can picture what i am saying, there is no VESA mounts in which you could mount this screen to a monitor arm or the like unfortunately.
With that being said its still a good monitor and i like it, and will do without being able to mount it on a monitor arm.
A:AnswerIn person the back of my monitor is black. The bottom of the screen trim that has the brand name on it is gray. Not sure if the blue is in reference to the on/off light which sits at the bottom center of the screen and is blue?
