Some drives used to come with backup software pre-loaded on the drive. This one doesn't. You'll have to either purchase a backup utility or use the built-in backup functionality of Windows 10. I believe that's in "Update and Security" - there should be a backup option there.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can use the File History feature in Windows 10 to back up to an external drive or network location. Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Backup > Add a Drive, and then choose an external drive or network location for your backups. Once you have it set up with the correct drive you can go to the FILE HISTORY function inside the control panel to create scheduled backups. For more in depth instructions I recommend searching YouTube for a step by step guide.
