Can you supply more information on how to connect with a Canon R5? Or a link with instructions? I don't see a method within Canon's "image transfer" to transfer to the usb type c connector. Any help would be appreciated.

Would you use the menu system on the Canon to start the transfer to the T7?  Or does it automatically backup.  Hard to understand what would start the transfer.
