Yes it plays the real 4K discs but I couldn't tell any difference between a 4K disc on this player and a regular blu-ray upscaled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the player is a true 4K player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes this is a true 4K blu Ray player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it's the only true 4k player out at this time, its not an upscaler. Only upscales DVDs. Plays 4k Blu rays in true 4k
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is a true 4K if you watch a 4k Blu Ray disc.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. This player supports the UHD Blu-ray spec. However you need to play UHD Blu-ray discs in order to get true 4K. It does a great job upscaling as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. It plays 4K HDR 10-bit video. It will also upscale conventional Blu-ray disks, but it produces true 4K output. At this time it does not support the new 12-bit format from Dolby, but that remains to be widely available anyway as no source material is available in 12-bit that doesn't come on a hard disk. (as of 4/29/16).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it is a true 4K DVD player, buuuut unless your TV is HDR (High Dynamic Range) compatible it will ONLY upscale to 4K, not be true 4K. Samsung is working on software to automatically upgrade non HDR 4K televisions to HDR but no ETA is available.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but will also play/upscale any DVD, Bray.
