yes, but must have a 4k tv/projector to get 4k video.and it has a dual hdmi output so much more convenient spliting for both ways.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wanted to do the same thing. I asked the sales rep at Best Buy and he said it was. I don't blame it on Best Buy. The device will not automatically detect the resolution of the receiver, TV, or projector and play anyway even on another Samsung device. I can get other non-Samsung devices to downgrade the resolution automatically on my SHD Samsung TV, but this device cannot play 4K on my non-4K TV. Samsung supports only solution was that I have to purchase 4K compatible receiver or TV. No other option.
