I sort of tested this. Had a DVD ripped to a bunch of .VOB files, and those actually played from the flash drive. As far as an ISO, I'm not sure. Would you play an ISO file? You burn the ISO to disc and that creates a DVD.

Please try again later.I know that this player is protected by not playing ripped movies, movies out of us region, anything that doesn't have a copy wright on it, you will see it probably on tv, but it won't play. I tried it and had to play around with resetting it in order for it to work, but who wants to go through the headace with that. I'm sure other versions would probably play everthing eventually, and usb port yes, but if you can get an mhl which goes from phone to hdmi to player might be best for quality as well.
