any good hdmi will work, dont buy into this whole hdmi scam. im using a $20 rocketfish hdmi on this unit with a samsung suhd 9000 series and it looks unbelievable. trust me dont waist your money
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It depends on your length of your cable. I have this player and a Samsung SUHD tv. I had a 12' Rocketfish 4k cable (18 speed). Well the sound would go through but the picture would not. I went and bought a 22.5 speed cable.....one of those real expensive ones and it worked. I did some research and your length of your cable is a factor now with 4k. So, the hdmi cable thing is not a scam anymore. It sucks that I had to spend another 100 dollars for it to work but it works.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been told that the Monster Platinum cables available at BB work, but are very expensive. I am using Blue Jeans cables, but I have had some problems. Not sure if it is cable or firmware.
