It all depends on the movies you purchase. if the 4k movies you buy are truly 4k(lucy, xmen apocalypse, batman vs. superman, etc) then the picture difference will be superior however if the 4k disc you purchase are not truly 4k movies(suicide squad, secret life of pets, ghostbusters, etc) and just upscales you might as well just stick with regular blurry\ also be sure you have a 4k tv heres a list of real and fake 4k movies http://realorfake4k.com/list/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a true 4-K TV AND this 4-K DVD player to get TRUE 4-K picture quality and to play 4-K DVD's. There is no upscaling a 4-K disk that I am aware of. That is why I had to purchase yet another DVD player. My other Samsung that I just purchased with the 4-K TV wouldn't recognize the 4-K disk so we had to play the Blu-ray ones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The upscaling aspect may be moot. But if you plan on playing 4k bluray discs your gonna need a player and this thing is great. I have the 8000 and I feel like this player streams a lot better than the tv, so I would recommend it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It depends on the quality of the upscaler. If the Blue ray play it better than the TV then use the blue ray player. But if it an actual 4k player and you are playing a blue ray disc an up scaling it. I would definitely use the player.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.4 k is awesome dude !!! Period !!!
