Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, your problem is with compatibility of the K8500 and non Samsung TVs. I called Samsung and they admitted that many problems do exist. These problems have already resulted in the return on one TV similar problems on a second TV and the exchange of the K8500 for the Panasonic UB 900. And, if a new mother board doesn't fix my current TV, Best Buy will be seeing me again. Oh, a Best Buy Geek Squad technician and two Magnolia store employees have also noted compatibility problems with the K8500. Those problems get worse with firmware updares.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Did you connect with a High-Bandwidth 4K capable HDMI cable or just a standard HDMI cable? Without a high-bandwidth cable, the TV will not receive the 4K content but will play 1080p HD content.
