• This happened to my camera also. It easily gets dust in the lens/zoom mechanism. I had to send mine in for repairs and they replaced the whole section. I think with this camera you have to continuously clean around the lens/zoom mechanism and carefully use canned air to blow out dust particles. Hope this helped...
