A Samsung associate in the store told me, "the only difference with these two is you have your phone lying flat on one and standing or lying on it's side on the other".

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It allows you to wirelessly charge your phone on a desk or table and still be able to easily see the screen without removing it from the charger. Works quite well with the iPhone X, as I can charge it at my desk while working, and even charges while I’m landscape orientation. Unfortunately, it does not support fast charging on any of apple’s devices.
