Hi Bob, This device will work with a Galaxy S4, but you will need to purchase a Wireless Charging Back for the S4 and replace the current back of the phone with this new one. The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have built-in wireless charging, but any other Samsung device requires a Qi-capable charging back.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think so because the S4 doesn't support wireless charging unless it has a special adapter. I'm pretty sure this is for the S6 and newer. The iPhone 6 doesn't even have wireless charging yet!

You may be able to find a replacement battery option that includes the wireless charging receiver within the back plate for the phone, but I am unsure. I suggest upgrade to the S6. I went from the S3 to the S6 and difference is just awesome!
