“If I want to connect this printer to an old XP tower - a stand alone no net access PC - will it work? Are the drivers available on an included disc? Will it try to "phone home" for product registration then fail to operate without online registration?”

• I have my printer hooked by USB to a newer HP desktop tower. The drivers are on the disc, however, they do updates for the drivers that need to be downloaded on your computer by the internet.
