Hi Joe, thanks for your question. While the SanDisk Flash Drives can help free up space by moving photos, videos, and files off your iPhone, they can't directly assist in updating iOS. We suggest using the drive to back up and delete large files or media from your phone to create enough space for the iOS update. We also recommend connecting with the host device support.
