• As far as I can tell, your Samsung tablet doesn't have a USB-C port, does it? This USB stick is for the latest in technology that most devices haven't jumped on board with yet (I believe). The smaller side isn't a micro-USB port, but a new USB-C technology that Apple has started to use. Leave it to Apple to make you use technology that most others haven't adopted yet! I bought this for my new MacBook which has only one port/opening on the entire laptop; the only way to use things is by this new "USB-C world". I hope that helps!

• Yes, but you would be better off with a Type A / micro B flash drive. This one is great from experience http://www.bestbuy.com/site/sandisk-ultra-dual-64gb-micro-usb-usb-3-0-type-a-flash-drive-black/7016092.p?id=1219667727604&skuId=7016092 I use that with my older phones, PC, PS3 & PS4.
